The City of Camden Point was officially proclaimed a Purple Heart City during the City Council meeting, on May 10. This proclamation shows the appreciation by the community to every man and woman who have served in the United States Armed Forces, and to recognize them for having served their country so selflessly.
Walter Schley, Sergeant-at-Arms, Department of Missouri, Military Order of the Purple Heart, presented Mayor Mark Wagoner with a plaque proclaiming Camden Point, MO as a Purple Heart City.
